Further Tribute to Peter from the following OSB:

Callum Darbishire (FS 56-58).

“I was saddened to hear of the death of Peter Dixon. I remember him well as I believe that I was the first person to put a rugby ball in his hands, I was helping to introduce the Foundation new boys to the game when this (then) rather small gangly boy turned up for practice. It was not long before he took to it and earned the nickname 'Scrapper Dixon'.

He quickly filled out and became a very fine player.

I later enjoyed watching him many times from the stands at Twickenham.

Sadly, I shall be unable to travel to Cumbria for his funeral but will raise a glass to his memory on that day.”
